| Mission Statement ProCredit Bank Romania is a development-oriented full-service bank. We offer excellent customer service and a wide range of banking products. In our loan operations, we focus on lending to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as we are convinced that these businesses create the largest number of jobs and make a vital contribution to the economies in which they operate. Our bank explicitly avoids all speculative lines of business and issues large loans only in exceptional cases, thus minimising the risk associated with such activities. Our shareholders – most of whom are major, well-established international institutions – expect a sustainable return on investment, but are not primarily interested in short-term profit maximisation. We invest extensively in the training of our staff in order to create an enjoyable and efficient working atmosphere, and to provide the friendliest and most competent service possible for our customers.
Vision
We are convinced that micro entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) are the most promising sector of the Romanian economy in terms of growth rates and job creation. Moreover, politically, the development of this sector helps to foster the middle class which usually plays a stabilising role in society. Our aim is to support the development of SME by providing them with financial services that are tailored to the specifics of their operating environment. We envision to become a reliable partner for businesses in all financial matters and to develop together with our customers strong and lasting relationships based on mutual trust, commitment and co-operation. We strongly believe that by ensuring the reliability and sustainability of our bank and at the same time providing excellent customer service we will have a significant impact on the development of private enterprises in Romania. |
